The Houston Texans have just defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 36-19 in the 2025 NFL week 10 game.

The Jaguars were leading 29-10 when entering the final quarter of the game. In the final quarter the Texans scored 26 points while the Jaguars scored none.

The Texans have gotten off to their poorest start in 3 seasons now have a record 4 wins, 5 losses. They were lead today by backup quarterback Davis Mills.

The US government shutdown that began on 1-October-2025 has finally ended after 40 days. 8 Democrats voted with Republicans to re-open thé government after Republicans agreed on a future vote to extend subsidies on the Affordable Care Act.This has been the longest shutdown in American history.

The shutdown began due to disagreements on a budget between Republicans and Democrats. Democrats wanted subsidies on the Affordable Care Act to be continued, Republicans didn’t.

There was 60 total votes in favour of opening the government and 40 against it.

Soon people will should be able to start getting their fully funded food stamps due to the reopening of the government.
