The New England Patriots ended the Buffalo Bills’ 5 year reign of the AFC East on Sunday the 28th of December 2025 after the Patriots defeated the New York Jets 42-10 but the Bills lost to the defending Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles 13-12.

The Patriots have a record of 13 wins and 3 losses while the Bills have 11 wins and 5 losses. With only 1 game left, no team in the AFC East can catch up to the Patriots.
