Professor Jiang challenges the idea of self-made billionaires. He argues that extreme wealth is not created by individual talent alone but is made possible by broader social, economic, and institutional systems
Birdman words of wisdom: āIf we speak, we speak. If we donāt, we donāt. I can go the rest of my life not speaking to no body, I donāt give a f* about thatā
Who's the dumbass that created monthly rent payments?
I have something I wanna tell you, F you!
Why do I need to purchase permission to exist on the Earth, you bitches don't own?
When a person spends most of their life working just to avoid losing shelter, their consciousness stay trapped in survival mode and that survival mode gives the elites total control over your existence.
Imagine a bird paying the sky to fly. Imagine a tree paying the forest to grow. Or a fish paying the forest to swim. Yet humans are told they must earn the right to sleep indoors on Earth.
Ancient humans saw Earth as something shared. Modern systems divide nature into ownership papers and monthly payments.
In the Bible, King Solomon said "Everything is meaningless" (Ecclesiastes 1:2) .
Some people say "life is what you make it". I think what happens in a person's life is mostly outside of their control e.g. where and when you were born, the genes you were born with, how others treat you, unexpected things in life, some could be life changing etc.
The idea of life having no meaning and nothing mattering is plausible for example bad things happen, you can cry and feel pain but the world continues as if nothing happened. 10reply
The Ā£ symbol stands for ālibraā. It is a Latin term meaning scale or balance. The term pound comes from the Latin term āpondoā which means āweightā.
The pound originates as a unit for mass. It is still used in the USA for mass. For example 5lb is pronounced ā5 poundsā, the lb stands for libra.
People often make fun of Black Americans and others when they say āaksā instead of āaskā.
āAksā comes from Old English, itās the word which āaskā came from. Languages have dialects, some dialects of English use the older āaksā.
Some symbols from a writting style known as Nsibidi from south eastern Nigeria and Cameroon (attributed to the Ekoi people). Some symbols are found on artefacts dated to the 5th century AD.
As a person who's been trying to work on businesses for years and not finding success, I'm gonna keep going.
I'm not religious but one the most interesting things I've read on this topic is titled "Invest in Many Ventures" in the book of Ecclesiastes. The 6th and final verse says:
"Sow your seed in the morning,
and at evening let your hands not be idle,
for you do not know which will succeed,
whether this or that,
or whether both will do equally well."
So if one thing doesn't work, try something else. Also be open to investing in different projects at the same time because you don't know what will succeed. 10reply
Smart work over hard work.
You could be the hardest working janitor in the city,
The worst bank accountant in the city will probably make more money. 10reply
Why does the world exist?
If you believe in the Big Bang, why was the material for the bit in existance, where did it come from?
If God exists, where did God come from? 10reply
The numbering system most used today is the "Decimal System" also known as "Hindu Numerals".
It introduced the concept of 0 (zero not the alphabet O) and decimals.
President Trump has imposed a $100,000 fee on companies for each person they hire using the H1B visa.
The H-1B is a non-immigrant visa that allows U.S. employers to temporarily hire foreign workers in "specialty occupations". These are fields that require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific specialty, such as IT, engineering, science, medicine, finance, and education.
Trump aims to reduce the amount of non-American workers being employed by high tech companies. 00reply
People often think of other planets in our solar system like
Jupiter, Mars and Neptune when trying to answer this
but that is thinking too small and close.
The sun is a star. Just like the sun, other stars have planets
around them. Our galaxy (Milky Way Galaxy) is estimated to have between 100 to
400 Billion stars.
The probability that there is a planet out there with life in the
more than 100 billion solar systems just in our galaxy is high.
All that is just in one galaxy. scientists estimate there's between
100 billion to 2 trillion other galaxies in the observable universe.
The world is not fair, that's just the way it is.
Some people are born in better situations than others,
for example some are discriminated against for their background,
some are discriminated against for other features,
some are born with genetic diseases and suffer all their life,
some kids lose both their parents as children and the world continues like nothing happened.
In tough situations sometimes you just have to accept that it is what it is and keep going. 00reply
Hard work increases the chances of success,
it doesn't guarantee it.
Often they tell us to work hard,
some have modified it to "work smart",
there is also luck involved in success. 00reply
Everyone has a different path in life.
We are born different and in different situations.
Just because something worked for someone else doesn't mean it will work for you;
you need to figure out what works for you. 00reply
Life is a meaningless game of luck
You can unexpectedly lose your life, loved ones or freedom,
the universe will continue like nothing bad happened. 00reply
